Privacy policy

This policy explains what VolumeX.fun collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers the website and the accounts on it. It does not — and cannot — cover the Solana blockchain, which is a public ledger nobody operates.

Anything you do on-chain is public and permanent. Every trade, every token you launch and every transfer is recorded on Solana, readable by anyone, and cannot be deleted by us or by you. If you connect a wallet that is linked to your identity elsewhere, that link is public too.

1.What we collect

Only what the site needs to work.

  • Your wallet address, if you sign in with a wallet or link one. This is how the site knows which coins and trades are yours.
  • Your email address, if you sign in with an email code, Google or GitHub. It identifies your account and is where sign-in codes are sent.
  • A provider identifier from Google or GitHub, if you use them. We receive an account id, an email address and a display name. We do not receive your password.
  • Your profile — the username, picture and biography you choose. These are shown publicly beside your coins and trades.
  • Your activity here — the coins you launch, buy, sell and comment on, and when. Most of this mirrors what is already on-chain.
  • Ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, kept to operate the service and investigate abuse.

We do not ask for your name, your address, or a government identity document, and we do not run advertising or third-party analytics.

2.Wallet keys, if the site holds one for you

Accounts created with Google, GitHub or an email code have no wallet of their own. Where this deployment is configured to provide one, the site generates a wallet for the account and stores its private key.

A wallet whose key this site holds is a wallet this site can spend from. The key is encrypted before it is stored, and the key that decrypts it is never kept in the same place — but a breach of both would mean losing the funds in every such wallet. You can export your key at any time and move your funds to a wallet only you control.

If you connect a wallet you already own, this does not apply: the site never sees its key, and every transaction is signed in your browser by your own wallet software.

3.Who else sees it

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Data reaches other parties only where the service cannot work otherwise:

  • A Solana RPC provider sees the addresses and transactions the site asks about.
  • Arweave stores the name, description and image of every token launched here. That storage is permanent and public by design and cannot be withdrawn.
  • Our email provider handles the delivery of sign-in codes, and therefore your address.
  • Google or GitHub, if you choose to sign in with them, in the ordinary course of that sign-in.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect users of the site from fraud or abuse.

4.Cookies and what is stored in your browser

A session cookie and a token in local storage keep you signed in. A small amount of other data — which wallet you last used, whether you have hidden your balance, recent searches — is stored in your browser only and is never sent to us.

None of it is used for tracking or advertising. Clearing your browser data signs you out and forgets those preferences.

5.How long it is kept

Account information is kept while the account exists. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. On-chain activity is permanent and outside anyone's control, including ours.

6.What you can ask for

You can change your username, picture and biography at any time from your profile. You can ask us to provide a copy of the information we hold about your account, correct it, or delete the account entirely.

Deleting an account removes it from this site. It does not, and cannot, remove anything already recorded on the blockchain or stored on Arweave.

7.Children

This site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

8.Changes

We will update this page when the practices it describes change, and the date at the top will change with it.
